2 coaches for Rabobank Cycling Team

On 19 October 2011, VDL Bus & Coach bv and Rabo Wielerploegen BV signed a four-year collaboration contract. As part of the agreement, two Jonckheere luxury coaches have since been delivered to the Rabobank Cycling Team. These coaches will provide exceptionally comfortable transport to each stage and are outfitted to provide the cyclists and support staff with every possible convenience.

Both Jonckheere coaches have a length of 13.4 metres and are completely customized to meet the stringent requirements of the Rabobank Cycling Team. The vehicles are superbly suited to provide the cyclists with the care they require during the competitions. Among other features, the design includes a relaxation room with luxurious armchairs and audiovisual equipment, a kitchen fitted with all the modern conveniences, along with showers and a changing room. A powerful generator provides air conditioning and power when the coach is not running. The extra large baggage compartment even includes a washing machine so the bike clothing can be washed while on the road, and the extra high floor provides space for up to eight bicycles below.
