VDL Citea Electric at Hanover technology trade fair

From 7 to 11 April the world's largest technology fair will be held in Hanover, Germany: the Hanover technology trade fair. This fair attracts more than 220,000 visitors from more than 90 countries each year. This year's event will be extra special because the Netherlands has been chosen as partner country for the fair.

In honour of the Dutch partnership Hall 3 has been renamed Holland Pavilion. Various Dutch companies and knowledge institutes will show their innovative products in this pavilion. The products shown in the high-tech automotive section, stand F20, include the VDL Citea Electric. This fully electric public transport bus has a length of 12 metres. The ability to choose from various electric drives and battery packages ensures that the most ideal and optimal combination can be selected for every deployment area, without consequences for accessibility, interior layout or comfort.

VDL Groep is well represented at the Hanover fair. In Hall 3 (Holland Pavilion) an X-ray table produced by VDL Healthcare Technologies is also displayed, and in Hall 4, stand D33, (Industrial Supply) various subcontracting products in the fields of metalworking, mechatronic modules and plastics processing are shown. The fair will be officially opened on Sunday 6 April by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
